Montero Aramburu incorporates new head of corporate area in Córdoba

Montero Aramburu has incorporated Julio Pernas as the new head of the corporate area of its Córdoba office. In his new position, Pernas will assume leadership especially in the cross-cutting sectors of renewable energies and distribution, as part of the firm’s firm commitment to the promotion of these matters.

Throughout his more than 15 years of professional career, he has accumulated extensive experience in shareholders’ disputes and banking law, as well as in restructuring and insolvency, renewable energies and industrial property.

Prior to joining Montero Aramburu, Pernas was managing partner of the Madrid office of Dueñas Ruart Abogados. He has also developed his professional career in law firms such as Garrigues, Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and Andersen Tax & Legal, as well as having been part of the legal team of the Bank of Spain and several credit institutions.

He holds a PhD in Private Law from the University of Navarra and an MBA from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles. He currently combines his professional practice with his teaching activity as a professor in the Corporate Law Department of the University of Cordoba.
