Pérez-Llorca and Baker McKenzie advise on the acquisition of Exeltainer
Pérez-Llorca and Baker McKenzie have advised on the sale of Exeltainer, a leading Spanish manufacturer of isothermal packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, to Cold Chain Technologies (CCT), also a leader in the isothermal packaging sector and owned by the private equity fund Aurora Partners.
Exeltainer has used its technical expertise and the strategic location of its production sites to become the supplier of choice for pharmaceutical customers distributing their products in Europe and Latin America.
This is CCT’s third acquisition since partnering with Aurora Capital Partners in 2019. During this time, CCT has dramatically expanded its product portfolio and digital services platform, allowing it to enter new sectors of the pharmaceutical industry, and dramatically expand its manufacturing and distribution capabilities globally.
Pérez-Llorca has advised Cold Chain Technologies (Aurora Capital Partners) with a team formed by Francisco Iso, corporate partner, Javier Bau, corporate partner, Rita Royo, corporate lawyer and Beatriz Sánchez, corporate lawyer.
Baker McKenzie’s corporate M&A practice has advised Exeltainer with the participation of Luis Casals, Carlos Martín and Andrea Iraola.
