KPMG Abogados and Deloitte Legal advise on Binter’s $467m fleet expansion
KPMG Abogados and Deloitte Legal have advised on Binter’s $467m fleet expansion, which has closed a financing agreement with a banking consortium made up of the main Spanish banks, Santander, Caixabank and BBVA to purchase six E195-E2 aircraft. KPMG has advised Banco Santander and Deloitte Legal has advised Binter.
The commercial-financial team of the Madrid office of KPMG Abogados has been led by Luis Mingo Benedicto as partner in charge of the department together with Javier López Crespo as senior associate.
Deloitte Legal team has been formed by Ignacio Medina (partner), Vicente Falcon (senior associate), Gisela Raab (senior associate) and Esther Núñez (associate).
Binter has closed a financing agreement with a banking consortium made up of the main Spanish banks, Santander, Caixabank and BBVA to continue developing its fleet expansion program.
Binter’s president, Rodolfo Núñez, and its vice-president, Alfredo Morales, have signed the agreement with the three banks in Gran Canaria. Through this operation, the airline will invest more than 467 million dollars to purchase six E195-E2 aircraft, which will be delivered in 2024 and 2025, bringing the airline’s total to 16 jets of this model.
