Clifford Chance advises on the acquisition of Sunfer Energy
Clifford Chance has advises Esdec Solar Group, a portfolio company of Blackstone and Rivean Capital, on the acquisition of Sunfer Energy.
The Clifford Chance Spain multidisciplinary team advising on the deal was led by Corporate /M&A partner Samir Azzouzi and Corporate / M&A senior associate Beatriz Pérez Alonso, together with Associates Josep Massana and Carlos Aleixandre.
Clifford Chance has advised Esdec Solar Group, a leading global player in rooftop solar mounting systems, held by Blackstone and Rivean Capital, on the acquisition of Sunfer Energy, a company dedicated to the design, development and manufacturing of residential rooftop solar mounting systems.
Founded in 1999, Sunfer has the support of a loyal installer base, a trusted distribution network and an experienced and committed team of more than 100 professionals. The company is based in Valencia, Spain and sells its systems worldwide in more than 30 countries. The acquisition of Sunfer contributes to Esdec Solar Group’s further growth and footprint expansion plans.
The team also comprised senior associate Jorge Martín-Fernández and associate Natalia Olarra from the Employment department as well as counsel Begoña Barrantes and associates Paula Valenciano and Sara Selma from the Antitrust department.
