Andersen Portugal strengthens Life Sciences & IP
Andersen Portugal has announced the integration of Hugo da Silva Tavares as coordinator for the life sciences and intellectual property areas. Recognised as a prominent lawyer in these areas of practice, Silva Tavares began his career over 15 years ago, having extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry where he actively participates, both in terms of advice and in the classic aspects of specialised litigation. He was also an associate at PLMJ, NGA, and, more recently, at RVA Advogados.
José Mota Soares, managing partner of Andersen in Portugal, said that “the entry of Hugo
constituted an enormous reinforcement for the area of life sciences and intellectual property
from Andersen. Andersen’s reinforcement in these branches of law means a very strong commitment and determined to provide our customers with a broader offer of value.”
