Lener appoints new partner for its commercial law area

Lener has appointed Carlos García Agustín (pictured) as a new partner in its commercial law department.

García Agustín has a degree in law, a diploma in business studies from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas and has completed a master’s degree in corporate legal consultancy from IE Law School. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration with a specialisation in corporate finance (MBA) from IE Business School.

Lener’s new partner began his professional career in the corporate/M&A department of Cuatrecasas, later joining the legal teams of Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica and Grupo Teka, managing the latter’s legal department.

He is also an expert in advising national and international companies on transactions and corporate matters, providing his services to firms from different sectors.
