CMS advises Siemens Energy on a sale to Mutares
CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo has advised Siemens Energy on its divestment of Siemens Energy Engines, a world player in power generation engines, in favour of the German listed fund Mutares.
Through the transaction, the law firm has advised the listed company Siemens Energy on the transfer of Siemens Energy Engines (formerly Guascor), holding company of its gas and diesel engines manufacturing division, with headquarters in Gipuzkoa, as well as of several of its assets, located in Italy and the United States.
The law firm has also been assisted by colleagues from CMS Italy with regard to the aspects related to the business located in Italy.
The operation has been led by Javier Torre de Silva (partner), José Ramón Meléndez (counsel) and David Jódar (associate).
