BDO appoints new director for its public law area

BDO Abogados has appointed Javier Ramón (pictured) as new director of the public law and urban planning department.

Ramón holds a degree in law from the Complutense University of Madrid and has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the CEU-SAN PABLO University and at the Complutense University. He is also a regular speaker at numerous Bar Associations, and lectures on public law in training courses for civil servants of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, as well as the Ministry of Justice.

With more than 20 years of experience, Ramón is a lawyer specialising in public law and advising on urban development law. He has also been a Magistrate in the Courts of Cuenca and Guadalajara for nine years, where for the last six years he has held the post of Magistrate of the Contentious-Administrative Court of Guadalajara.

The incorporation of Javier Ramón is part of the growth strategy of BDO Abogados, which has more than 300 professionals between the offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia and a turnover of €42m.
