Abreu & JLA advise Limak Cimentos on new thermal power plant in Mozambique
Abreu Advogados and JLA Advogados have advised Limak Cimentos on the development of its new thermal power plant, located in Matola city, Maputo province. With a capacity of 4.8 megawatts and an investment of 3.5 million euros, this new infrastructure will generate clean energy for cement production, thus reducing carbon emissions into the atmosphere.
The coordination of the advisory services for this operation was conducted by Zara Jamal (pictured left), partner at Abreu and JLA, and included the participation of a multidisciplinary team from both firms, composed by Mafalda Teixeira de Abreu (pictured right), professional partner, Isabel Pinheiro Torres, associated partner and Deivid Sacur, lawyer.
Limak Cimentos is part of the Limak Group and is one of the three main cement producers in Mozambique, with a large investment in the local and national economy, particularly in the areas of construction and research and development.
