Santiago Mediano Abogados: Elena Santías new partner
Santiago Mediano Abogados has appointed Elena Santías (pictured), until now a senior associate of the law firm as a new partner in the IP area.
Santías, who joined the firm in 2014, is a lawyer and a Spanish Official Industrial Property Agent and European Trademark and Design Attorney, with 20 years of experience in industrial property matters.
She has extensive experience in managing trademark portfolios, planning protection strategies and procedures of all kinds before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, the European Intellectual Property Office (EuIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).
She also assists clients during the pre-litigation phase in all types of matters related to the infringement of trademarks, patents, industrial designs, unfair competition and copyright.
