TKL advises Onza on the sale of a stake to Garbo Produzioni
TKL Abogados – Think Legal has advised Onza on the sale of a stake in the group that will allow Garbo Produzioni, with which it intends to develop a long-term industrial alliance, to enter the group’s capital.
Operating in Spain and the United States, Onza is an independent audiovisual production company with titles such as El Ministerio del Tiempo, Pequeñas Coincidencias, Parot and Hernán.
By this deal, the founding partners of Onza, José María Irisarri, Gonzalo Sagardía and Nicolás Bergareche, will remain as reference shareholders and will continue to manage the company. Maite Bulgari, Raúl Ballestero and Stefano Torrisi, from Garbo Produzioni, will join as new board members.
The team from TKL Abogados advising Onza was formed by the partner, Almudena Ponce de León (pictured centre) and the senior associate, Marta Ocaña (pictured right) from the Corporate and M&A department of the firm.
In addition, due to its specialisation, the audiovisual area of the firm has participated in the process with the lawyer Esther Gómez (pictured left), who leads the intellectual and industrial property area of the firm.
