Montero Aramburu hires Helena Arronis

Montero Aramburu has incorporated Helena Arronis (pictured), a lawyer specialising in Energy Law, to its Madrid office. Until now, she has worked as an advisor in the office of the Secretary of State for Energy of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.

Arronis has worked as a specialist in energy in law firms such as Osborne Clarke, GTA Villamagna Abogados or CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo.

A graduate in Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Master in International Law, Foreign Trade and International Relations from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid / ISDE de Madrid, Arronis, who joins the law firm as a senior associate, is also assistant general secretary of the Club Siglo XXI and member of the Spanish Association of Energy Women (AEMENER).

The partner in charge of the Public Law and Regulated Sectors Area at Montero Aramburu, Ignacio Albendea, emphasises the firm’s ambition “to consolidate its position as a benchmark law firm in the energy sector in Spain following its recent participation in several of the most important transactions in recent months, at a time of crucial importance for the energy sector in Spain and with expectations of a lot of activity”. A strategy, he adds, “that would not be possible without continuing to add the best professionals in the sector to our excellent energy team”.
