Monereo Meyer launches in Lisbon
Monereo Meyer Abogados has announced the opening of its new office in Lisbon. The firm now counts on four offices in the Iberian Peninsula including Madrid, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.
The new office will be headed by the partner Tânia Pinheiro (pictured right), who will lead the operations in Portugal.
Pinheiro specialises in advising corporate and private clients on commercial, civil and real estate matters, as well as Portuguese tax law, and in the negotiation of international contracts in corporate mergers and acquisitions. She joins from Caiado Guerreiro where she was also a partner and head of the firm’s German desk.
“We have been considering expanding our business to Portugal for some time, as a natural geographical extension. Our German clients have been asking us for advice in Portugal on a recurring basis,” said Stefan Meyer (pictured left), managing partner of Monereo Meyer.
