Pinto Ribeiro Advogados strengthens its tax law team

Pinto Ribeiro Advogados has reinforced its team with the incorporation of Teresa Alves de Sousa (pictured) as of counsel and coordinator of the tax law department.

Alves de Sousa, who moved from SRS Advogados, has years of experience in advising companies and individuals in the area of tax law, with a special focus on corporate income tax, personal income tax, stamp duty, IMT, IMI, VAT and tax benefits.

For Teresa Alves de Sousa this ends up being a homecoming, given that between 2012 and 2017 she was the lawyer in charge of the tax law department at J.A. Pinto Ribeiro & Associados, one of the firms that gave rise in 2018 to Pinto Ribeiro Advogados.

“I am sure that Teresa, with the knowledge and experience she brings, will be decisive for the affirmation of the tax law department of our firm.
