CCSL advises Alpac Capital on Euronews acquisition
Alpac Capital, a venture capital management company based in Portugal, concluded its acquisition of a majority stake in international news channel Euronews.
CCSL Advogados assisted Alpac Capital on the process related with the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Euronews, including the review and negotiation of the SPA, as in the negotiation with the Fund’s investors. CCSL Advogados was also responsible for coordinating the legal teams from different jurisdictions advising Alpac.
The deal has been announced in December 2021 but was now concluded following the approval by the French Government. The value of the acquisition is confidential.
The CCSL team was coordinated by partner Mafalda Almeida Carvalho (pictured), head of M&A, and had the collaboration of Francisco Burguete and Catarina Flor Ferreira.
