Andersen with Pictet on the acquisition of a logistics centre

Andersen has advised Pictet, a private bank specialising in asset and wealth management, on the purchase of the logistics centre it has acquired from Abacus, the Spanish bookstore and school supplies chain.

The facilities, located in the Catalonian municipality of Vilanova del Camí, have 25,000 square meters and 48 loading bays. The transaction, valued at 31.5 million, has been structured through a sale&leaseback whereby Abacus will remain in the facilities on a leasehold basis for the next 17 years.
