GA_P advises Avalon Properties on one of the largest Build to Rent operations of the year

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Avalon Properties on the acquisition from Amenabar of 5 residential developments intended for rental in Vallecas, Madrid, with a total of 300 homes.

This is one of the main build-to-rent (BtR) deal of the year in Spain, closed at a particularly complex time due to inflationary pressure in construction prices and material supply problems, which have caused a slowdown of this type of operations. It is expected that this acquisition will be a boost for the reactivation of BtR operations.

The team advising on the deal is made up of Enrique Isla, Natalia Callejo, Marta González-Llera, Gema del Rio and Javier Rabena, partner and associates of GA_P Real Estate; and Dámaso Riaño, legal manager of Avalon Properties.
