Banco Santander hires in-house lawyer from Pinsent Masons

Banco Santander has recruited Luis Suárez de Lezo Landecho, who joins from Pinsent Masons, as senior Legal analyst at Santander Asset Management

Luis Suarez de Lezo (pictured) is a senior Legal analyst at Santander Asset Management (SAM). Prior to joining SAM, he developed his career working for the Real Estate department of two international law firms (Linklaters and Pinsent Masons).

He has extensive experience advising on all types of deals and working for all types of clients in the Real Estate sector. He has advised on investment/divestment transactions, leases, real estate management contracts, sale and leasebacks, development, construction and real estate M&A. Regarding types of assets, he has experience in the sale and purchase of hotels, shopping centres, real estate portfolios, NPL portfolios, logistics, photovoltaic solar parks, and alternative assets.

Luis is a Law and Business graduate from the Universitat de València. He started his career at Garrigues, being later an associate at Linklaters Spain for more than three years, a period in which he was seconded to Neinver. He has also been working in the Real State area at Pinsent Masons as an associate lawyer from 2019 until now.
