Mobile World Capital Barcelona has appointed Marta Duelo Alfonso as its Legal manager

Marta Duelo Alfonso (pictured) has joined Mobile World Capital Barcelona as its new Legal manager. Marta Duelo is an expert in planning, negotiating and implementing Mergers and Acquisitions (both Equity and Real Estate), investment and financing rounds, Corporate Reorganisations and Due Diligence processes, as well as in drafting and analysing a wide variety of commercial contracts and collaboration agreements, and in the effective resolution of Corporate Governance issues, particularly in conflict mediation.

MWCapital promotes the development of the mobile and digital ecosystem to position Barcelona as a global digital reference hub. It also hosts MWC in Barcelona and founded 4 Years From Now (4YFN), the startup business platform present at MWC events around the world. With the support of the public and private sector, MWCapital focuses on four areas: the acceleration of innovation through digital entrepreneurship, the transformation of industries through digital technology, the rise of digital talent among new generations and professionals, and the reflection on the impact of technology in our society.

Marta joins from Rhombus Global Consulting, where she was head of Legal and a Board member since January 2021, as announced by Iberian Lawyer. Previously, she worked at Baker Mckenzie, EY, and Aina Hospitality and Absolute Properties Real Estate as in-house counsel. She also founded her own project (MD INMOLEGALIA).

She is a Law graduate from ESADE, with a Master´s degree in Business Law from the same institution and another in Corporate Finance from EADA Business School.
