AdCE strengthens Litigation and Arbitration team
Raquel Ribeiro Correia joins Antas da Cunha Ecija from PLMJ, where she was coordinating associate in Dispute Resolution. She joins as of counsel
Antas da Cunha Ecija has just announced the reinforcement of its Litigation and Arbitration team with the addition of Raquel Ribeiro Correia.
After more than two decades at PLMJ, the lawyer moves to the firm headed by Fernando Antas da Cunha, as of counsel.
Ribeiro Correia will develop her activity from the Lisbon office.
Fernando Antas da Cunha, managing partner, said: “It is with great satisfaction that we welcome Raquel. She is a professional with extremely solid bases from a technical point of view and with a very unique response capacity in topics where the complexity is quite high.” He adds: “I am absolutely convinced that the integration of Raquel will be a great asset for the firm. In the end, it will be our clients, who will be the greatest beneficiaries”. Fernando Antas da Cunha ended by saying: “Despite the current uncertainties, as a result of the pandemic situation we have been experiencing for almost a year and a half, the results have been frankly encouraging and, in this sense, we will continue to invest in the growth of the team and in the reinforcement of our competences in core areas.”
Raquel Ribeiro Correia is specialised in the area of Litigation, where she has followed numerous cases of enormous technical complexity and high economic value, with a special focus on the areas of Real Estate Law (in particular, Leasing), Consumer Law, Distribution Law and Private (Electronic) Security Law.
Raquel Ribeiro Correia holds a degree and a Postgraduate degree in Insurance Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
With this integration, the Litigation and Arbitration team of Antas da Cunha Ecija, managed by partner João Carlos Teixeira, now counts on 13 lawyers and 3 trainees.
