Eversheds hires L&A counsel from New York´s K&E
Eversheds Sutherland Nicea has hired Pilar Colomés as International Litigation & Arbitration counsel, joining from Kirkland & Ellis
Pilar Colomés (pictured) joins Eversheds Sutherland Nicea as counsel in the Litigation and International Arbitration department. Pilar focuses her expertise on International Law, International Investment Arbitration and International Commercial Arbitration.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland Nicea, Pilar worked in the International Arbitration team of Kirkland & Ellis law firm in New York, where she advised on a wide variety of Commercial and Investment Arbitrations subject to different Arbitration rules and jurisdictions around the world. Her experience covers various industry sectors such as energy and the financial sector, among others. She has experience in local and Arbitration relief proceedings.
She has also worked at Herbert Smith Freehills´ International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution area, representing the Kingdom of Spain in a major Investment Arbitrations.
She has a degree in Journalism and Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and holds a Master´s degree in International Law, International Arbitration, Dispute Resolution and International Trade Law from Columbia University in New York.
