L&W collaborates with the Davos Forum on an artificial intelligence toolkit for managers and directors
Latham & Watkins has collaborated with the World Economic Forum’s Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, held this month in Davos (Switzerland),on the developing of an artificial intelligence toolkit called Empowering AI Leadership.
This pioneering set of resources and strategies, distributed in 12 free modules, has been born with the vocation of providing a point of reference for directors and senior management of companies on their responsibilities to supervise the implementation of innovative solutions of artificial intelligence (AI) that impact on their shareholders, employees, customers, supply chain or other stakeholders.
According to Latham & Watkins San Francisco´s office partner, Karen Silverman (pictured) “as companies increasingly compete to capitalize on the opportunities and tools associated with AI, senior management and boards are required to understand and monitor these transformative technologies and their impact. We are pleased to partner with the World Economic Forum’s Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution through these best practices kit, which provides resources to support executives and boards in this critical area”.
Launched at the recent Davos Forum in 2020, the toolkit has been developed with input from advisors, stakeholders and more than 100 companies in six countries to meet the specific needs of the business leaders for whom it is designed and to lead them to take practical action with tangible impact.
