King & Wood Mallesons advises Galp on the sale of its LPG business in Spain

King & Wood Mallesons advised Portuguese energy company Galp on the sale of its portfolio of clients and LPG assets in Spain to Primagas, a subsidiary of SHV Energy

This transaction allows Primagas to become the third operator in the LPG segment in Spain and increase its number of customers from 13,000 to 20,000.

Galp, which specializes in the marketing of petroleum products and associated services, currently has 580 service stations in Spain, as well as an extensive electricity and natural gas marketing network

Gonzalo Olivera (pictured), KWM’s Energy and Infrastructure Partner has led the multidisciplinary team in charge of advising Galp on this operation.
