Latham & Watkins appoints Ignacio Gómez-Sancha as Madrid managing partner

Latham & Watkins has appointed Ignacio Gómez-Sancha (pictured) as the new managing partner of its Madrid office.

Gómez-Sancha joined the firm from DLA Piper in 2018. He replaces Juan Picón, who died last month, as managing partner. 

Gómez-Sancha’s practice focuses on advising investment funds, companies and investment banks on capital markets, restructuring, and private equity deals.

Latham & Watkins has 75 professionals working in its Madrid office.
