Cuatrecasas acts for Italy’s Alerion on Spanish wind farm deal

Cuatrecasas advised Italian energy company Alerion on the acquisition of a wind farm located in Aliaga, Spain.

The 36-megawatt wind farm was acquired for €41 million.

Under the terms of the deal, Alerion has acquired 100 per cent of Comiolica, the company that owns the park.

The acquisition has been part-financed through a €23.5 million syndicated financing involving Banco Sabadell and Abanca.
