The PLMJ team handling the transactions was led by partner Duarte Schmidt Lino. It also included partner Filipa Cotta, senior associate Inês Pinto da Costa and associates Tomás Almeida Ribeiro, Jorge Serrote and Raquel Cardoso Nunes.

ECS Capital, founded in 2006, is active in a wide range of sectors including: real estate, tourism, food, energy, chemicals, textiles, engineering, automotive and healthcare.

ECS manages three private equity and restructuring funds: Fundo Albuquerque, Fundo Recuperação and Fundo Recuperação Turismo

Fundo Albuquerque’s investment activities are focused on growth capital, management buy-ins (MBI), management buy-outs (MBO), “buy and build” and restructurings, primarily in Portugal, but also in Spain.

Fundo Recuperação and Fundo Recuperação Turismo are focused on acquiring “defaulted or impaired corporate credits in order to recover companies with sustainable business models”.
