VdA forms alliance with Guinea-Bissau firm

Leading Portuguese law firm VdA has signed an exclusive alliance agreement with Guinean-Bissau law firm Tsidkenu – Advogados e Jurisconsultos (TSK Legal).

Founded in 2014, TSK Legal consists of 11 lawyers – including six partners – making it the largest firm in Guinea-Bissau.

TSK Legal´s six partners are Ruth Monteiro, José Semedo, Fernando Gomes, Gabriel Umabano, Itla Mara Semedo and Samora Sampa.

A VdA statement said: “This alliance will increase the reach of VdA’s network of law firms (VdAtlas) and represents a strategic move grounded on the potential of the Guinean-Bissau market and on the political and economic momentum the country is enjoying.”

Fernando Resina da Silva, the VdA partner that will coordinate the alliance together with João Mayer Moreira, executive manager of VdAtlas, said: “Guinea Bissau is entering in a new social and economic stage, focusing, namely, on the development of the infrastructure so needed in the country – with the alliance, VdA and TSK Legal are ideally placed to assist clients in their investments in Guinea-Bissau”.
