A new lead for Garrigues London
Garrigues has named Corporate Partner Ignacio Corbera Dale as the new Head of the firm’s London office. He takes over leadership of the City-based practice from Corporate Partner Guillermo Muñoz-Alonso, who will return to Madrid after the completion of his three-year tenure.
Corbera Dale first joined Garrigues in 1990 becoming a partner in the Barcelona office, where his focus to date has been on M&A, corporate and contractual law.
The firms focus in London to date has been on advising UK companies, investors, and financial institutions with interests in Spain, as well as to domestic clients involved in transactions there.
The office also handles Garrigues’ relations with London-based law firms.
Muñoz-Alonso, a corporate finance and private equity specialist, helped launch Garrigues’ presence in the UK, shortly after being promoted to the firm’s partnership.
