Sérvulo elects new Managing Partner

Leading Portuguese public law and commercial firm Sérvulo & Asociados has announced the appointment of a new Managing Partner, Pedro Furtado Martins, and a move away from the dual Managing Partner structure that had characterised the firm since the merger of Sérvulo Correia & Associados and Ferreira Pinto & Associados in 2008.

Already a member of the firm’s Executive Board, Furtado Martins assumes the new role at the start of April, taking over from co-Managing partners Fernando A Ferreira Pinto and Rui Medeiros.
Furtado Martins is an employment law specialist, and was previously a senior partner with Ferreira Pinto & Associados. He continues the strong academic tradition at Sérvulo and will continue to hold a professorship at Lisbon’s Catholic University. His tenure as Managing Partner will initially last two years.
The firm has also elected partners Ricardo Guimarães and João Saúde to the Executive Board.
