Zehnder Group Acquires Grupo Siber: The Advisors
Zehnder Group, a global leader in indoor climate solutions, has acquired the Catalan Grupo Siber from its founding partner, Toni-Nicolás Salame, and majority shareholder, Quarza Inversiones. This acquisition is part of Zehnder’s strategy to expand its presence in the residential and light commercial ventilation market, with a focus on double-digit growth.
Grupo Siber, known for its high-quality, energy-efficient ventilation solutions for residential markets in Spain and Portugal, will enhance Zehnder’s regional business. Matthias Huenerwadel, CEO of the Swiss group, welcomed the acquisition, highlighting the complementary nature of the two companies’ products and market strengths.
Toni-Nicolás Salame has also expressed his satisfaction with the transition, confident in Zehnder’s ability to continue Siber’s success. Quarza Inversiones, of Cristian Abelló, which invested in Siber in 2019, acknowledged the value created during their partnership and looks forward to new investment opportunities.
