Wolters Kluwer acquires Della AI

Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory has acquired Della AI, a provider of AI technology for law firms and corporate legal departments.

Through the deal, Della AI will become part of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory’s legal software unit, which provides technology solutions for the legal sector.

For its part, Della AI, founded in 2018, has offices in London and Paris and employs 16 professionals. Wolters Kluwer expects the investment to generate a return on invested capital (ROIC) above its weighted cost of capital (8%) within three to five years and expects the transaction to have a negligible impact on adjusted earnings.

Giulietta Lemmi (pictured), CEO of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory’s legal software unit, highlights: “By integrating Della AI’s experience and expertise into Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory, we further increase the value we deliver to our clients by investing in the continued development of this key technology and the people behind it. Together with Della AI, we will further enhance our clients’ experience and consolidate Wolters Kluwer’s leading position in the corporate legal market.
