White & Case appoints to member of the firm’s Global Partners’ Committee

White & Case in Spain has appointed Juan Manuel de Remedios, managing partner, as member of the Global Partners Committee of the international law firm. The appointment has taken place through a vote among all the partners of the firm worldwide. He is the first Spaniard to be part of this committee.

The Global Partners Committee of White & Case is an institutional body composed of only eight partners of the firm and its mission is to support its president in defining and implementing the strategy of White & Case worldwide.

The appointment is a recognition of Juan Manuel de Remedios’ career and of White & Case’s ambitious growth strategy in Spain. Its implementation has meant doubling the size of the Madrid office to more than 50 lawyers, with the aim of consolidating itself as one of the leading firms in Spain.

Juan Manuel de Remedios has stated that “it is an honor to have been chosen by the partners of the firm and a recognition of the work we are carrying out from the Madrid office”.

Spain is one of the leading economies in the Eurozone and White & Case’s Madrid office plays an instrumental role as a liaison between the firm’s Latin American and European practices, providing clients with cross-border advice and a global perspective.
