WFW advises ING on Biorig biomethane plant financing
Watson Farley & Williams has advised ING in a €42.5 million financing for the construction and operation of a new biomethane and CO₂ capture plant developed by Biorig, Solarig’s renewable gases platform, in San Millán de los Caballeros (León).
The bank acted as sole structuring and coordinating bank for the financing, as well as financing institution, hedging provider, sustainable finance coordinator and account bank.
The Watson Farley & Williams team was led by Rodrigo Berasategui, partner in the Banking & Finance group, with support from senior associate Laura Fontán and associates María Gardeta and Julio Castell. Regulatory advice was provided by partner Luis González, assisted by senior associate Paula Pérez.
