Watson Farley & Williams acts for Renovalia on €130m wind farm refinancing

Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) advised Cerberus Capital’s subsidiary Renovalia Energy Group on the €130 million refinancing of four wind farms in Spain.

 

The four wind farms – which have an aggregate capacity of 105.8 megawatts – are Sierra Sesnández located in Zamora (20MW), Loma del Capón in Granada (30.6MW), Magaz in Palencia (30MW), and Cova da Serpe II in Lugo (25.2MW).

The wind farms were refinanced by CaixaBank, BBVA and Banco de Sabadell.

The WFW team was led by María Pilar García Guijarro, partner and head of the firm’s Madrid office. The team also included partner David Diez, senior associate José María Anarte, and associates Juan Vicente Barquilla, Eduardo Dachary, and Lidia Fernández.
