Virginia Beltramini New Cepsa General Counsel & Board Secretary

Cepsa has announced the appointment of Virginia Beltramini as the new General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors, effective September 16. Reporting directly to CEO Maarten Wetselaar, she will also join the company’s Management Committee.

Beltramini, a Law graduate from Universidad Complutense and holder of a Master’s in Business Legal Advice from IE Business School, brings over 20 years of experience in company transformation processes and M&A. Her career spans roles in both Spain and the United States, with a strong background in BTO services, digital, and real estate sectors.

Most recently, Beltramini served as General Counsel and Secretary of the Board at Atento, a leading global provider of outsourcing and customer experience transformation services. Over her 13-year tenure, she led international expansion projects, IPOs, bond issuances, and debt restructuring, while also overseeing Compliance and Risk areas.

Beltramini’s extensive legal and regulatory expertise has earned her various industry accolades. Her appointment underscores Cepsa’s commitment to leveraging top legal talent to navigate its strategic initiatives and operational transformations.
