Violas instructs MLGTS on acquisition of Viacer stake

MLGTS advised Violas on the acquisition of a 25 per cent stake in Viacer from Banco BPI.

The transaction was valued at €233 million.

As a result of the deal, Violas now has a controlling 71.5 per cent stake in Viacer.

Portugal-based Violas has investments in various business sectors such as tourism, education, real estate, beverages, logistics and textiles.

Viacer has a 56 per cent stake in drinks company Super Bock Group.
