Vicente Sánchez Velasco named honorary president of AMEE
The Association for Mediation, Encounter and Listening (AMEE) has recently appointed Vicente Sánchez Velasco, CEO of Aranzadi LA LEY, honorary president of this organisation that promotes Restorative Justice, in recognition of his “unconditional support for this project since its beginnings in 2013”.
Support for the AMEE Association’s Restorative Justice Programme, which the Aranzadi LA LEY Foundation supports together with the Community of Madrid and Banco Santander, is part of a broad action plan through which this corporate foundation articulates the company’s social action, working in the fields of Justice and Education, through knowledge transfer and innovation, with a special impact on SDG 9 and 16 of the 2030 Agenda.
Sánchez Velasco holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3), a degree in Private International Law from The Hague Academy of International Law, and a postgraduate degree in Marketing and Market Research also from ICADE. Before joining Aranzadi LA LEY he was part of the PRISA group with different positions of responsibility in EL PAIS and PRISACOM and provided professional services within the Strategic Services Department of KPMG.
