VdA joins the United Nations initiative aimed at integrating the sustainable development goals

VdA, along with more than 650 companies based in 30 different countries have joined SDG Ambition, the United Nations Global Compact accelerator programme

VdA, along with more than 650 companies based in 30 different countries have joined SDG Ambition, the United Nations Global Compact accelerator programme that challenges companies to set ambitious corporate targets and accelerate the integration of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into core business management. 

When the UN declared this the “Decade of Action”, having called for joint action in accelerating the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and of the 17 SDGs, it did so in the knowledge that we are at a critical crossroads, which demands a strategic plan at a global scale. The SDG Ambition programme arises from this call to action and was launched at the World Economic Forum, in Davos, exactly one year ago, with the participation of UN Secretary General, António Guterres.
