Current senior partner José María Segovia – who has been with Uría Menéndez for 38 years – will retire from the firm on 31 December this year.

Salvador Sánchez-Terán joined Uría Menéndez in 1988 and became a partner in 1996. He specialises in corporate, M&A, securities and banking law.

He has particular expertise in the areas of corporate transactions involving credit entities and the development of new financial instruments.

Salvador Sánchez-Terán said: “”After thirty years with the firm, it is an honour that our partners trust me to exercise the functions of managing partner.”
