Telles strenghtens its public law and energy teams
Telles has announced the addition of two new associates, Sónia Gabriela Martins, who joins the public and urban planning practice, and Pedro Lousa Cabral, who strengthens the environment & climate change and energy & natural resources practices.
Sónia Gabriela Martins has a well-established career in both the public and private sectors. She worked as a lawyer at Aveiro City Council and, previously, at GAIURB – Empresa Municipal de Urbanismo e Habitação de Vila Nova de Gaia, where she held the positions of lawyer and Data Protection Officer (DPO). In the private sector, she was business legal affairs manager at Angoalissar – Comércio e Indústria and was also director of Services at CEDOUA – Centre for Studies in Planning, Urbanism and Environmental Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.
She has a law degree from the University of Coimbra and has completed several postgraduate courses in areas such as urban planning law, land use planning, consumer law, public employment, and data protection. This gives her a multidisciplinary and specialised approach to legal advice on matters relating to administrative law, urban planning, and administrative offences, among others.
Pedro Lousa Cabral has developed his expertise in the public sector, energy, and the environment. He specialises in providing legal advice on public procurement, energy, and environmental matters. He holds a law degree from the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Law, as well as a postgraduate degree in public procurement from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and a master’s degree in administrative law, from the same institution.
