TELLES hires new co-head of EU and competition law practice 

TELLES has hired Margarida Rosado da Fonseca (pictured) as new co-head of EU and competition law practice. 

Rosado da Fonseca holds an LL.M. in European Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium and a degree in Law from the Law School of the University of Lisbon. She has almost 25 years of experience in advising private and public entities in a wide range of sectors, advising on large transactions, competition law implications within public procurement procedures and implementation of compliance policies, as well as state aid and restrictive practices, merger control between companies, legal issues related to distortions resulting from government (in)action, and even fundamental economic freedoms. 

She is also the Secretary General of APDE – Portuguese Association for European Law and regularly publishes contributions addressing practical issues such as the legal implications of the screening of foreign direct investment in Portugal and the application of state aid rules to sectors such as tourism and transports.
