Telefónica adds Juan Carlos Ros Brugueras to the Movistar+ board
Telefónica has appointed Catalan lawyer Juan Carlos Ros Brugueras to the board of Telefónica Audiovisual Digital, the entity that manages Movistar+‘s operations, according to the Official Gazette of the Commercial Registry (BORME).
Ros Brugueras, a partner at the law firm Brugueras & García-Bragados, is no stranger to Telefónica, having previously served between 1998 and 2010 as General Secretary of Telefónica Internacional and Director General of the company’s Legal Services.
His appointment comes as part of a new phase for Movistar+, following the arrival of Marc Murtra (pictured) as Telefónica’s chairman on January 18. Earlier in March, Movistar+’s board appointed Javier de Paz as the new president of the platform, succeeding Sergio Oslé.
