SRS Legal advises Grupo Presto on Segmon deal

SRS Legal has advised Grupo Presto on its acquisition of Segmon – Sistemas Globais de Segurança, a Portuguese company specialising in fire protection solutions. The transaction marks the Swedish group’s entry into the Portuguese market.

The acquisition gives Grupo Presto a platform to develop its business in Portugal and continues its expansion across Europe. Segmon will keep its brand and current management team while becoming part of Grupo Presto’s international structure. Segmon’s CEO and co-owner Fernando Luís, together with co-owners Paulo Vasconcelos and Pedro Grilo, will continue to run the company and will take an active role in Presto’s future development in Portugal.

Grupo Presto plans to combine organic growth with further acquisitions to build a fire safety group in Portugal. Segmon is also expected to work with other Presto group companies, including Eurofesa in Spain, to serve clients with operations in several countries.
