SRS Legal advises Ethiack on €4M funding round

SRS Legal advised Ethiack on its €4 million funding round, led by Explorer. Ethiack is a Portuguese technology startup based in Coimbra, dedicated to cybersecurity. Explorer, in turn, is one of the leading venture capital firms in Europe.

With this investment, Ethiack aims to revolutionize the market with the launch of AI-based hackbots, an innovative technology designed to strengthen cybersecurity and empower organizations to tackle the challenges of an ever-evolving digital landscape.

The operation was supported by the legal advisory team at SRS Legal, led by Paulo Bandeira and Solange Fernandes, partner and associate, respectively, in the corporate & finance department (both pictured). “Ethiack is an excellent example of Portuguese innovation reaching a global scale, and we are pleased that SRS Legal could participate in a transaction that highlights the transformative potential of this startup.
