SRS Advogados advised a banking syndicate – comprising Banco Santander Totta, Caixa Geral de Depósitos and Caixa BI – on the financing of a cruise liner terminal in Lisbon.
The consortium consisting of Turkish port operator Global Liman Isletmeleri, US-based Royal Carribbean Cruises, Spain’s Creuers del Port de Barcelona and Portugal’s Grupo Sousa-Investimentos – which holds the concession agreement for the Lisbon cruise terminal – was advised by PLMJ and ABBC.
The new terminal was designed by architect Carrilho da Graça.
The SRS Advogados team advising the banking syndicate was led by partner Alexandra Valente and associate John Carvalho Santos.
The consortium was advised by PLMJ partner Pedro Melo, as well as senior associates Patrícia Dias Mendes, and Marisa Larguinho. Royal Caribbean Cruises instructed ABBC, whose team was led by partner Bruno Azevedo Rodrigues and associate Ana Tavares Oliveira.
