SRS Advogados instructed by Eni on €325m share offering

SRS Advogados advised energy company Eni on an accelerated bookbuilding offering of shares corresponding to 4 per cent of the share capital of Galp Energia with an approximate value of €325 million.

The transaction involved the sale of more than 33 million shares to qualified investors.

The completion of this transaction generated financial proceeds of approximately €325 million and concluded the sale of a 33.34 per cent shareholding held in Galp Energia for a total price of €3.3 billion.

The SRS Advogados team was led by partner Gustavo Ordonhas Oliveira and senior associate João Santos Carvalho.

Eni has a market capitalisation of approximately €55 billion and is listed on the Milan and New York stock exchanges.
