SRS advises ECS in the sale of Grupo Montalva
SRS Legal has provided legal advisory services to ECS Capital in the sale of Grupo Montalva. The advisory services from SRS Legal have included organizing, monitoring, and executing the competitive sale process of Grupo Montalva, as well as drafting and negotiating the transaction contracts and documents.
This operation have involved the sale of the entire Grupo Montalva by Fundo Recuperação (a venture capital fund managed by ECS Capital) to a company owned by Valsabor, with participation from the management team of Grupo Montalva. The transaction value was not disclosed. Grupo Montalva, headquartered in Montijo, owns the brand Izidoro, and exports to more than 30 countries. It has approximately 30 animal production farms and eight industrial units in Portugal.
