Squire Patton Boggs advises Frey on Barcelona retail park acquisition

Squire Patton Boggs’ Madrid office advised French-headquartered real estate investor Frey on the €82.5 million acquisition of Parc Vallès, a leisure and retail park in Barcelona.

 

BarcelonaBusinesses operating from the 42,000 square-metre site include many Mango, Nike, Maisons du Monde, MediaMarkt and Burger King.

The site, which also includes a Mercadona supermarket, attracts 10 million visitors per year. Parc Vallès generates an annual rental income of €5.3 million.

The Squire Patton Boggs team advising Frey was led by partner Ramón Castilla, and included partner Antonio Cañadas, senior associate José Aguilar Shea, and associates Antonio Fernández-Rodriguez, Cristina Fernández, Teresa García, Miguel Nasser and Patricia Galán.
