SPB advises infra funds on €21m mezzanine facility to Greenalia
Squire Patton Boggs has advised French funds Acofi Gestion and Zencap Asset Management on a €21 million facility granted to Spain´s Greenalia
A team from Squire Patton Boggs, led by Banking & Finance partner Manuel Mingot (pictured left), has advised French asset managers Acofi Gestion and Zencap Asset Management as lenders’ counsel on a €21 million senior secured syndicated facility to an affiliate of the Spanish-listed renewable energy developer Greenalia. The facility provides the equity finance required by Greenalia for the construction and commissioning of five wind farms of the portfolio “Eolo MOC I” in Galicia, totaling in aggregate 74 MW.
The team included Banking & Finance associate Alberto Paris, Tax Strategy & Benefits partner José Aguilar (pictured right) and associate Andrea Boullosa. Acofi Gestion and Zencap are asset managers with a focus on renewable energies and infrastructure. The mezzanine facility was structured and arranged by Acofi Gestion.
Greenalia is one of the largest renewable energy developers in Spain. Greenalia is listed on the BME Growth segment of the Spanish Alternative Stock Exchange.
