SPB advises Eiffel on financing to Capital Energy
A team from the Finance department of Squire Patton Boggs (SPB) Madrid office has advised French asset manager Eiffel Investment Group on a €75 million financing facility to the Spanish renewable energy developer Capital Energy.
The facility
The facility is made available by way of senior notes issued by Capital Energy and privately placed on funds under management by Eiffel Investment Group. The facility will finance the construction of five wind farms and one PV plant owned by Capital Energy, totalling in aggregate 234 MW.
Eiffel Investment Group is a Paris-based asset manager with a focus on renewable energies and impact investing. Capital Energy is one of the largest developers of renewable energies in Spain.
